Just over a year ago, Ford Super Duty work trucks with the new 10R140 transmission started hitting the lots all around the country. It was the first new transmission for that platform in a decade and for the first time in a decade, we needed a new PTO which fit the transmission and could handle the unique demands and requirements of our power systems. The engineers at Muncie Power Products came through with the F20 PTO, which was not just compatible, but quieter, easier to install, and rated for power above and beyond the previous generation.
Since then, Real Power has delivered dozens of 60kW+ generator systems on the Ford platform with the F20 PTO, and it’s been a resounding success. Thanks Muncie, and here’s to decades more of high power engineering successes for the both of us!
